Alternative Provision Offer SENDerella
SENDerella provides bespoke 1:1 alternative education for learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), delivered in the homes or care setting, with a focus on re-engagement, emotional safety, and meanit progress.
Provision supports children and young people who are unable to access full-time mainstream or specialist education, through personalised, confidence-building approaches.
Core Curriculum Areas
- English and Mathematics – building functional skills, confidence, and core understanding
- Communication and Emotional Regulation – using structured, play-based and relational approaches
- Creative Learning (including Drama) – encouraging expression, engagement, and confidence through interest-led activities
How Learning is Delivered
- Individualised, child-lead sessions based on each learner’s needs and readiness
- Sensory-aware, low-demand approaches to reduce anxiety and increase engagement
- Movement-based and practical strategies to support focus and retention
- A strong emphasis on building trust and positive relationships with learning
- Sessions delivered in the learner’s home or care setting to maximise comfort, consistency, and engagement
Progression and Transition
- Support for reintegration into mainstream or specialist settings where appropriate
- Preparation for transitions, including routine-building and emotional readiness
- Focus on developing resilience, independence, and confidence
Assessment and Reporting
- Annual written reports shared with commissioning professionals and families
- Ongoing monitoring of engagement, regulation, and academic progress
- Clears, evidence-based tracking of progress over time
